Justin Timberlake’s Shriners Hospital Pro-Am Golf Tournament got underway this week in Las Vegas with a field of professional golfers, amateurs and celebrities all playing golf to raise money for the children’s hospital charity. Some famous names participating in the event include Davis Love III, Alice Cooper, Natalie Gulbis and Oscar De La Hoya who are all there to raise awareness for the Shriners Hospital. Justin can be seen sporting some J Lindeberg apparel along with Oscar De La Hoya.

We at Trendygolf were lucky enough to receive an invite back to the Puma Open after the 2008 tear-up and again Puma didn’t disappoint, bringing along European Tour pro’s Johan Edfors, Daniel Vancsik, Mark Brown and Zane Scotland for the 9 hole event, held at the London Club before the European Open commenced.
What started out as a bit of Texas Scramble fun (the Puma way), soon turned into serious competition after every putt hit seemed to slam into the back of the cup. After a blistering speed hole, several hand wedges, a lucky 7s, play your cards right, a lesson from the Tour Pro’s why they are Tour Pro’s and a few beers, we managed to come out on top. Unfortunately for us we were not so hot at the Puma casino, and proceeded to lose an indoor putt off by default. Oh well, the objective for the event was to show us that their collection is going to get stronger again for 2010 and to have fun whilst doing it, safe to say this was achieved emphatically on both fronts!!!

When we were asked if we fancied a knock about with the boys at J.Lindeberg, we reluctantly bit their arm off at the chance to give the Pro’s a thrashing around the New course at Sunningdale. After a closely fought front 9, we turned it on to come out 5&4 victors extending our winning streak. Better luck next time guys!
