Rickie Fowler had an incredible weekend at the Frys.com Open in Scottsdale, Arizona, which is only his 2nd start as a professional. He opened with a 5-under 65 which gave him a place of tied 4th and continued this streak with a following round of 64! His final round of 64 which included a hole-in-one at the par 3 5th earned him a 3 way playoff for the competition against Troy Matteson and Jamie Lovemark. Unfortunately, he lost in the 2nd playoff hole to Matteson and finished tied 2nd, which isn’t too bad seeing as he has now had 2 top 10 finishes in two weeks! This stylish youngster has created quite a stir on the American circuit and has become very popular with golfing fans all over the world! Having taken home a nice check for $440,000 this week which puts him about 130th in the money list, he needs to move into the top 125 to secure his tour card for 2010! This extremely talented golfer is definitely one to look out for in the near future! We sure will be!

Rafael Cabrera Bello was dazed after he carded a round of 60 at the weekend to claim his first European Tour Title. The 25-year-old was 8 shots behind with 1 round to go at the Austrian Golf Open at Fontana Golf Club in Oberwaltersdorf, Vienna. He was standing on the 18th green with a putt for a round of 59 but ended with an impressive 60 to win by one shot over England’s Ben Barham. A win for Rafael . . . and Tommy Hilfiger!
