When Puma invited us to view the new Spring/Summer collection at a swanky hotel in London, we decided to drop along.  After an hour of watching models strutting there stuff we looked round the new threads for 09, viewing new styles and colours that will be delivered to us early in 09.   With a much bigger range for Ss09 the Puma train is moving towards their mission statement of providing golfers with a fusion of lifestyle and fashion.

Thanks to Tommy Hilfiger for taking us to Celtic Manor for the the Welsh Open and a once in a lifetime opportunity to play the 2010 course under the same tournament conditions.

 

After watching the final round of the Welsh Open we were treated to an evening of hospitality and after dinner Q+A session with Nick Dougherty.  The following day we dusted of our sticks and headed out with our two prize winners, Kevin and Phil, to tackle the ‘2110’ course.  On the 10^th hole we were lucky enough to take on Mr Dougherty in a beat the Pro format … There was no competition after Nick floated his gentle 9 Iron to about 8 inches !
