Tournament Golf College’s young talent, Ben Stow has bagged himself another win at the Northern qualifier of the BUCS Individual Stroke Play Championships. Ben showed early season promise with impressive results during the Iberian Golf Tour and did not disappoint with an excellent performance. Ben finished with a solid -8 par and will be going on to compete at the finals held at West Lancashire Golf Club on the 12-14th April.
Ben said: “I am very grateful for this opportunity to give something back to the College. The training that this course has given me has made a real difference this year. I feel I am striking the ball the best I ever have and I am definitely looking forward to the season ahead.”

The first week of the TrendyGolf Fantasy League got off to a flying start with The Masters proving to be one of the best final rounds in a long time. Eventual winner, Charl Schwartzel, was presented with the famous Green Jacket having finished -14 under for the tournament, followed closely by Adam Scott and Jason Day.
The TrendyGolf Fantasy League leader-board is up and running and this weeks winners and runners-up are as follows:

2nd – Southwold Saints (202)
3rd – TrendyGeoff (201)

Luke Donald has won the Par 3 Contest at Augusta, the day before the Masters tees off. Since the Par 3 Competition at the Masters began, anyone who has won the Par 3 event has not gone on to win the Masters Tournament. However, Donald isn’t too worried about the superstition behind winning the contest, he sees it as preparation for the start of the main attraction! Only time will tell, and who knows, maybe this jinx will be broken over the next 4 days!?
